Account & Access

How do I reset my password?

Go to the login page and click "Forgot Password". Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link. The link expires after 24 hours. If you don't receive an email within a few minutes, check your spam folder.

How do I enable two-factor authentication (MFA)?

Navigate to your account Security settings (top-right menu → Security). Toggle MFA on and follow the prompts. A 6-digit code will be sent to your registered email each time you log in from a new device.

Can I sign in with Google?

Yes. On the login or register page, click "Continue with Google". Your Google account email must match your Colliq account email if you're linking to an existing account.

Why am I being asked to verify my email?

Email verification helps protect your account. Click the link in the verification email we sent you after registration. If the link has expired, click "Resend Verification Email" on the verification page.

Organisations

How do I create an organisation?

After logging in, go to Organisations and click "Create Organisation". Fill in your organisation's name, type (NFP or SME), and ABN. You'll become the Owner of the new organisation.

How do I invite team members?

Open your organisation, go to the Members tab, and click "Invite Member". You can send an invitation email or generate a shareable invitation link. Assign an appropriate role (Admin, Manager, Staff, etc.) before sending.

What do the different member roles mean?

Owner has full control including billing and deletion. Admin can manage members and all settings. Manager can manage operations but not billing or sensitive settings. Staff has standard read/write access. Volunteer Coordinator manages volunteer records. Board Member has access to board governance features. Volunteer and Viewer have limited access.

Can I be a member of multiple organisations?

Yes. You can belong to multiple organisations under the same Colliq account. Switch between organisations from the top navigation bar.

Volunteers

How do I add volunteers to my organisation?

Go to your organisation's Volunteers section and click "Add Volunteer". You can manually enter details, or send an invitation link directly to the volunteer's email so they can self-register.

How do I log volunteer hours?

Open a volunteer's profile and click "Log Hours". Enter the date, duration, activity type, and any notes. Hours are tracked cumulatively and visible in volunteer reports.

Can I track volunteer availability?

Yes. Each volunteer profile includes an availability section where you can record their preferred days and times. Use the Volunteers filter to find available volunteers for specific shifts.

Events

How do I create an event?

Navigate to your organisation's Events section and click "Create Event". Fill in the event name, date/time, venue, capacity, and registration settings. Events can be public (visible without login) or private (members only).

How do I manage event registrations?

Open an event and go to the Registrations tab. You can view, approve, or cancel registrations. Enable the waitlist feature if the event reaches capacity.

Board Management

How do I schedule a board meeting?

Go to your organisation's Board section and select the Meetings tab. Click "Schedule Meeting", fill in the details (type, date, location or virtual link, agenda), and optionally select which board members to invite.

How do committees work?

In the Board section, open the Committees tab and create a committee with a name, description, and optional chair. Then add board members to the committee. Committee meetings can be linked to a committee for easy filtering.

Where do I upload governance documents?

In the Board section, select the Documents tab and click "Upload Document". Supported document types include Policies, Bylaws, Minutes, Agendas, Financial reports, Compliance documents, and Resolutions.

Analytics & Reports

What reports can I generate?

Colliq supports Volunteer Hours, Event Attendance, CRM Interactions, Board Attendance, and Organisation Overview reports. Go to Analytics → Reports → Generate Report to create a custom report for a specific date range.

Can I schedule automated reports?

Yes. In Analytics → Reports → Schedules, you can set up reports to be emailed to one or more recipients on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly basis.
